Each season and year, there are new trends in floral design that come from the creative minds of talented floral designers around the world. Like all artists, they are inspired by world events, changes in fashion, societal and cultural perspectives, and other influencers. With the unprecedented events of the last few months, floral designers have had considerable time to contemplate the world, nature, and the impact on society and then incorporate that in their new floral designs for the upcoming summer season. Our own floral designers reflect some of the similar sentiments among floral designers around the country as they introduce floral designs for the summer season. Nature and Health More naturalistic floral designs, with an emphasis on greenery and natural elements, personify the summer floral trends. We've seen the world begin to heal with less pollution, including clearer water and skies, and a return of more wildlife during this stay-at-home order. It's reminded us that nature is important as is the health of the planet and the human race.  Optimism and Resilience There has been so much uncertainty and gloom and doom the last few months that many floral designers are also focused on creating floral designs that reflect the resilience of humanity and optimism in the face of adversity and tremendous challenges.
